MASSACHUSETTS MARITIME ACADEMY

Massachusetts Maritime Academy is a public MA college for: Environmental Science, Marine Safety, Maritime Transportation, International Business, Engineering (Facilities or Marine), Emergency Management, Marine Biology, and Energy Management.


Through Sea Terms and Cooperative Education Programs, our undergraduates log 6 months of invaluable career experience during their 4-year pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree, often while traveling to a dozen or more countries.  Upon graduation, cadets are distinctly qualified to lead as licensed maritime professionals, skilled business managers, ship safety officers, commissioned military officers and more.

The United States Department of Transportation's Maritime Administration recognizes the Academy as one of six state maritime colleges approved to prepare graduates for federal license examination as third mate, ocean vessels, unlimited tons, or third assistant engineer, steam or motor, unlimited horsepower.
